I never saw it coming. After all, my passion in life has always been about songwriting, poor-musician lifestyle withstanding. But, after three solid years of writing 5 days a week, I’ve discovered a new love for design and decor blogging and have permanently added this profession to my previously single-minded “life to-do” list. And, yes, I even used a Sharpie.
I began writing for the home improvement and decor classifieds, DiggersList in January of 2010, quite by accident I might add. It was a site co-founded by my husband and brother-in-law and they needed someone to blog about all things for the home, a request from their PR firm to function as a virtual megaphone to attract the attention of social media. Knowing this would afford me valuable time to practice writing, I enthusiastically raised my hand to volunteer. I was hired. I think I might have been a shoe-in as the salary was quite reasonable – there was none. Now, that brings me to the subject at hand…
As I mentioned above, I never knew I’d be here three years later, but joyfully, I’m still very much in love. Still…a girl’s gotta eat and, more importantly, have a roof over her head. So, I’m announcing the following:

Thank you for your fantastic support and encouragement. It’s been such an unexpected journey that’s par for course, being a musician and all. Blogging and DIYing has connected me to a whole new audience and you’ve been fantastic. I so look forward to promoting your business, your work, and/or services…and I promise to keep clipping coupons.
