Sure. If I had and extra couple thousand dollars or so, I’d love to have a space like this, too. Luckily, that’s not the point with today’s “Room of the Day”, elegant and “purple-pleasing”…oh, and al fresco to boot. It’s really about the possibilities and how, with a “skies the limit” DIY attitude, we can realize at least a taste of this beautiful and host-friendly oasis in our own homes. First, having a ton of square footage isn’t required to create a cool vibe; coziness is far underrated, especially outdoors. Second, vertical gardens are a great way to provide privacy in limited areas, especially for the too-close-for-comfort neighbors. Third, color coordination can really set the stage for the kind of energy we wish to offer our visitors-bright and vibrant, or casual and calm…it’s up to you! Finally, add a touch of pizazz with a designated focal point: here, we have three-a dining area, a lounge/dance room, and, with added beach chairs or cushions, a movie theater. Here’s where that “skies the limit” thing comes into play. No matter what your budget or size of real estate may be, allowing inspiration in can turn just about anything into something special.
