I stumbled upon a video montage displaying several on-site accidents of do-it-yourself-ers. As you watch, in many cases, the accidents could have been prevented. I’m often urging my husband, who LOVES to climb on roofs (via ladders, gates, walls, etc.) to please be careful and concentrate-yes, the Kings are kick’n butt this year, but you’re standing 12 feet high on a slanted, somewhat mossy roof! It’s often when we allow our minds to wander on the diy job, use faulty equipment or tools, or rush to get it done that we find ourselves in predicaments like these poor fellows. This video definitely falls in the category of “What were you thinking!?!” Well…to be exact…they probably weren’t.
