HACK #1: Lemons are a natural cleanser.
• Mix together:
– 1/2 cup white vinegar
– juice from 1 lemon
– 2 cups water
• Use a measuring cup with a spout to fill a spray bottle.
• Spray countertops and wipe clean.
HACK #2: Clean Copper.
• Pour salt on a halved lemon and scrub
• Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
Note: with copper being all the rage these days, this is an especially helpful hack for hardware, faucets, light fixtures, sconces, etc.
HACK #3: Clean your cutting board.
• Cut a lemon in half and rub.
• Let sit for 20 minutes.
• Sponge off. Wipe dry.
HACK #4: Clean the Microwave.
• Put a lemon and water in a bowl and let it run for 1 minute.
• Remove and wipe dry.
HACK #5: Mix up a natural pesticide.
• Use 2 lemons and 2 cups of water.
• Use a measuring cup with a spout to fill a spray bottle.
• Spray the mixture near pest hot spots.
