There’s a movement back towards white rooms that doesn’t stir the “blah-borings” in me anymore. A perfect example is today’s “Room of the Day” where DIYers Kevin and Layla Palmer so tastefully and conscientiously juxtapose a repurposed wood paneled wall with crisp, clean, white walls, linens, and accessories. Touches of natural fabrics and materials, muted blues and greens, and tiny pops of red all sing together in sweet harmony. The result is a room that casts a welcoming glow, where any guest would enjoy basking in and staying maybe too long a while.
