Summer is a time to relax, spend time outside with friends and family and BBQ like it’s the 4th of July. So, because our nation’s birthday is just around the corner, I thought I’d round up some of my favorite red, white and blue repurposing party decor ideas to celebrate the 4th in sensible (and awesomely creative) style!

Repurposed ‘n Patriotic Thrift Store Tie Wreath: Just the title of this project alone tells us we’re not gonna have to pay a lot. But, the results are not only quite expensive looking, this patriotic necktie wreath will add masculine charm to your door.

Repurposed Shutter Chalkboard Display: You can find these EVerywhere – architectural salvage shops, Habitat for Humanity ReStores, DiggersList, etc. With just a little chalkboard paint and a steady ‘n creative hand, you’ll impress guests with such a creative way to celebrate the 4th.

Repurposed Red Cup Lights: What’s a party without red cups?!? It would be un-American to go without! So, to kick things up a notch, you can make sure party-goers know they’re in for a good time with these red, white AND blue cup lights.
