Recycle It Forward for Mother Earth

Repurpose / Refurbish

Posted by Skaie Knox on 4/22/2011 for:

By now, Earth Day is as much a part of the American celebratory calendar as the Fourth of July. What better way to pay homage to Mother Earth than to “recycle it forward” by selling or donating those unused home improvement items or leftover building materials instead of throwing them in the trash? With more than 160 million tons of construction-related waste per year making its way to American landfills, (as reported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2008), now, more than ever, is the time to start changing the way we look at our “stuff”.
