Goodbye, Summer.

Today, we bid farewell to summer. The long, flip-flop-wearing days of forgotten sweaters and jackets, and nights that held up bright, twinkling stars for lounge chair gazing. It’s the time when the inside of our homes are but transitional spaces between the front and back yards, where the dog and cat only enter but reluctantly for a quick lap or a nibble from their food dishes. Porches and patios are enjoyed, along with the sounds of neighbors and their friends laughing it up at the backyard party they forgot to invite us to. No worries…our cat and hammock suited us fine. Hello, fall.
