Today, we bid farewell to summer and to the long, flip-flop-wearing days of forgotten sweaters and jackets, with nights that hold up bright, twinkling stars for endless lounge chair gazing. It’s the time when the inside of our homes are but transitional spaces between the front and back gardens, where the dog and cat only enter but reluctantly for a quick lap or nibble from their food dishes. Porches and patios are lazily enjoyed on a swing or comfy seat, as we eavesdrop on neighbors and their friends laughing it up at the backyard party they forgot to invite us to.
No worries…our cat and hammock suit us fine.
Hello, fall.
