Seeing as how I’ve had a love affair with writing my entire life, it might not be a surprise that I instantly connected with today’s “Blogs We Dig” blog, Poetic Home. Filled with vintage finds, designs, and inspirations, the “poetry” is how blogger and photo stylist Grace Light so artistically and imaginatively demonstrates ways we can repurpose, “upcycle”, and add that very “something special” to all kinds of items for our home.

Three things we DIG:

1. Doable DIYs…

that are nothing like you’ve seen before, like this very cool and collected book credenza:

2. Ideas using Wabi Sabi

a design philosophy that fuses nature with vintage, with new, and with you (and your personal style).

3. Totally “poetic” repurposing projects…

like this Vespa turned rocking-horse…probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. If you dug the film “Quadrophenia” you’d definitely relate.

Bonus DIG: The photography is wonderfully stylish on the pH and also, check out more cool repurposed suitcases, like the one on our homepage.
