Room of the Day: Inviting Tree Dining Space

Tree Entertaining…invite only. Image: Thayer Allyson Gowdy from Sunset via myhomeideas.com.

The sweet smell of trees is invitation alone to spend more time with and among them. This is wonderfully illustrated in our “room of the day” where a cooperative tree stump, repurposed into a perfectly form and functional table, is the center of attention. With subtle touches like a hanging, sparse and delicate “candelier”, simple wood and metal chairs, and rustic tableware, it’s as if nature intended us to dine in a space just like this.
