This cool project from Giggleberry Creations came across my desk several months ago: a little girl’s grandparents repurposed this old $30 TV entertainment console into a really cool, updated, and semi-functional play kitchen.  Apparently, their granddaughter requested a new one for her birthday, but, being the economy as tight as it is, the do-it-yourselfers got creative and saw past the dust, laminated wood, and old cables, bought the console for a steal, and followed the directions found on a blog called “Kelly and Her Kiddie Kalliope” to create a one-of-a-kind kid’s play kitchen. This will no doubt become a family heirloom.
